ARINC RS-232/RS-422

The ASIU-E and the newer GPCU, can be supplied with either ‘standard’ or custom firmware to operate between an ARINC-429/575 interface and a serial RS-232 or RS-422 interface.

Up to four bi-directional ARINC channels can be supplied. Serial Baud rate can be defined by the user. The ARINC Bit Rate and parity can be defined on a channel basis.

Additional ARINC and Serial channels can be supplied. The converters can be programmed to perform arithmetic and logical operations as well as bit/byte/word manipulations on the data in both directions in real-time.
